This package includes - Entrance to museum, a unique guided tour (a journey through the life of the artist, the stories behind the paintings, and the motifs from the world of Kabbalah & the ancient Jewish heritage), and an authentic Israeli meal.

* ”Luncheon on the Grass” is an Israeli meal named after the painting by Moshe Castel, which he painted indifferent versions and which describes the natural surroundings and picnicking in the latter part of the 20th century in the Land of Israel. The luncheon is served on large ethnic-style trays and includes Jerusalem bagels (baigela), Druze laffas, fresh vegetables, labane, hummus with olive oil, zaatar and hot beverages.
This package is highly recommended and receives wonderful feedback as it creates a unique way for the visitor to enter into the authentic atmosphere which Castel experienced in his youth, before the State of Israel was established, the families that enjoyed being out in nature, the workers that harvested the olives, and people eating with their hands, dipping their pita in the hummus and labane…
Location and Transportation

(previously 23 HaHatzotzra Street)
To arrive by car: From Jerusalem via Route 1 (Dead Sea Highway), at exit veer right to Maale Adumim, then veer left to Maale Adumim Center which will pass through the checkpoint and end at traffic circle with white dove fountain. Turn left at fountain and continue straight until reaching traffic circle #6, turn left and continue on road as it winds to the right, approximately 2 kilometers until reaching the museum on the right side of the road,
opposite the breathtaking view of Jerusalem and the Judean Desert.

Handicapped parking and accessibility - there is an elevator to second floor, entrance is wheelchair accessible.
